Pinhead Gunpowder

Two ounces of loose pinhead gunpowder green tea. Named for its resemblance to the world's first chemical explosive, Chinese gunpowder features dried green tea leaves that are withered, steamed, rolled into small pellets, and then dried. This aromatic tea, with its smoky and deeply vegetal flavor, is good hot or cold and just 40 cents a cup, with approximately 20 servings per two-ounce bag!

Brewing Suggestion: Steep 1 teaspoon per 12 ounces of water at 175F for 3-4 minutes. Remove/strain tea and enjoy!
