This 100% Arabica, organic, and fair trade certified Mexican coffee is our most poplar, with its appealing tasting notes of chocolate and almond. It also excels in any brewing method - drip, cold brew, French press, and more.
It is produced by Unidad Ecológica para el Sector Café Oaxaqueño (UNECAFE), an association of small coffee producers founded in 2011. UNECAFE is run by members of the Chatino, Zapoteco, Mixteco, Chontal, and Chinanteco indigenous groups who live in 30 communities in the state of Oaxaca. UNECAFE has nearly 2,198 members, forty percent of which are women, and collectively they cultivate more than 13,359 acres of coffee. Beyond their focus on quality coffee, UNECAFE members participate in sustainability and education projects.
